Bronte offers proven academic excellence in a happy, positive atmosphere.

The secret to Bronte’s success is enjoyment of learning. Classes are small. It is a school where each child from 3 to 11 years is given the best possible start.

We also offer a wide range of sporting activities so that there is something for every child to enjoy.

Bronte welcomes everybody who believes, like us, that a good education and confidence are the most important gifts you can give to any child.

We are accredited by the Independent Schools Council and are members of the Independent Schools Association.

brontenursery   Our Exciting News
In 2011 Bronte School's Kindergarten and Bronte Nursery's PreSchool were amalgamated into one big happy family. This PreSchool is based in the Bronte Nursery.

lamda   LAMDA stands for the 'London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts'. It aims to improve standards in communication through the spoken word; foster and appreciation of literature, poetry and drama; acknowledge levels of achievement; and support the creative, interllectual and social development of the individual as a whole. We at Bronte feel these are important attributes and so the junior department takes part in LAMDA examinations each year.

In 2011 Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 all achieved a pass with Distinction!

kcc   Languages - Bronte School has been awarded a silver accreditation for languages - which is no mean feat! Our pupils learn French from Early Years all the way through to Year 6. They are taught by a specialist language teacher and achieve a very good standard by the end of Year 6. We also have links with a school in France and the children visit/write letters to each other. Those who excel are given the opportunity to attend an advanced French club to further enhance their language skills.

primaryengineer   At Bronte our budding engineers in Key Stage 2 designed and made a model vehicle. An accurate chassis ensured the vehicle ran in a straight line, a pulley system and electric circuit were inserted and then the bodywork fitted, before trialing their effectiveness to travel up a ramp. One of the vehicles won 1st Place in the regional finals of the Primary Engneering Challenge! Top job! Then we went on to win the National Finals!
