Charity Fundraising

Bronte pupils are encouraged to think of others who are perhaps not as fortunate and we are proud of our support of so many worthwhile charities.  We particularly like to help local charities, thus helping our community, and those that support children.

Barnardo’s is our main school charity and we have a weekly collection – the class who collects the most each week gets to keep “Barney” the Barnardo’s teddy!

So far this academic year we have raised money for the following charities:

  • £270   for Barnardo’s
  • £400   for MacMillan Nurses
  • £175   for Ellenor Lions Hospice
  • £121   for Jeans for Genes
  • £151   for Poppy Appeal
  • £120   for SOS Childrens Villages
  • £1000 for ChYps (Children’s Hospice)

Well Done children (and parents) – a superb effort!

Did you know…
Barnardo’s has been the school’s charity for 106 years!
