A Family Atmosphere
The whole school attends regular Morning Assemblies, when every child from four years upwards joins in hymns, prayers, thoughts, awards of merits and, often, singing Happy Birthday to a blushing child or member of staff. So everyone in the school feels they belong together.
- The school rules emphasise kindness, good manners and constructive relationships.
- The school building is elegant and comfortable.
- Children of all ages – boys and girls – mix freely and comfortably together. Older children enjoy helping to look after younger ones.
Watch the children as they run around the garden or the all-weather courts and you will notice that there are no cliques and no barriers. It is like a family.
That is how Bronte School has been for over 100 years. Sometimes we feel we may have been a little ahead of our time.
