Visits and Tours

The best way to find out about Bronte is to visit and see the School for yourself. A visit and tour can be arranged at any time during term-time and will include a meeting with the Headmistress or Deputy Head as well as the opportunity to talk to your child’s prospective class teacher.

To arrange a visit, please contact Nicky Mason, Registrar, on 01474 533805 or e-mail

We look forward to welcoming you.

Admissions Procedure

Following an enquiry or visit, you may wish to register. This simply involves submission of a form, together with the registration fee (£75). Registration ensures that we stay in touch, and enables an ”Assessment and Familiarisation Visit” (AFV) to take place.

The visit is important for both the family and the school. It allows the school to observe a child, and make an assessment to confirm that their needs can be met. It also allows the child and parents to get a further feel for the school and to affirm that the environment suits. Nursery or school reports are usually also requested at this stage.

Shortly after the visit, the school will contact the family to confirm whether a place or waiting list place can be offered.

Full details about admissions procedures are given in the admissions policy, available under the “Policies” drop-down in the “Information for Parents” heading on the main home page menu.
